Firozabad. The enthusiasm of the young people who saw the corona vaccination is now starting to cool. If we look at the numbers for the past five days, the number of teenagers vaccinated goes down. Even after booking slots, many young people do not resort to vaccination.
The second corona wave hit the youth hardest. Most of those infected with corona were known to the youth. Therefore, the vaccination of the youth started from May 10th. At first the youth seemed very excited about the vaccination. As soon as the slot opened, half an hour in advance was also booked throughout the district. So far, 66,246 young people have been vaccinated. But the figures for the past five days worry the health department. The number of young people vaccinated is falling continuously. Initially, the number of vaccinations given to adolescents exceeded three thousand. But now it has reached 1877. Only 10 percent of young people are vaccinated. Here, too, people over 45 years lag behind when it comes to vaccination.
Special sessions are also organized for vaccinations. In rural areas, vaccinations are a conscious priority. Because the vaccination rate is very slow in the country. More than 2.5 lakh vaccinations were carried out in the district. This is how people get vaccinated and protect themselves.
