Azamgarh. ICMR has issued a third wave of warnings. The next three weeks are very dangerous. The slightest inattention can be expensive. After this warning there was a rush of vaccinated people into the centers. People reach the stalls from the city to the rural areas and get vaccinated.
The vaccination rate in the district was very fast. A 100 percent vaccination has been carried out for a week. Due to the vaccine shortage, some days the vaccination work is also affected and the department has to reduce the number of booths and carry out the vaccination, but currently the vaccination work is not completely affected on any day in the county. CMO Indra Narayan Tiwari said the department was arranging the vaccine from somewhere on a daily basis. Sometimes the vaccine is ordered from Lucknow and sometimes from Varanasi. Our aim is to achieve the goal of 100% vaccination as quickly as possible. Almost nine lakhs have been vaccinated in the district so far.

Sagadi. There is also a vaccination center in the Community Health Center, Jeyanpur. On Friday, a large crowd gathered at this center for vaccination. The vaccination work was impaired for a long time by the crowd reaching the vaccination room. The Jianpur Kotwali police, who got the information, somehow convinced people outside the center and did not set up the line until the vaccination session could begin. Police are on duty for security at the center, but on Friday the crowd had grown and people had come in pushing the police.
A total of 8,79,535 people had been vaccinated by 12 noon on Friday. The first dose was given to 7.57.257 and the second dose to 1.22.278. The Azamgarh district is the only district where vaccination was not interrupted on any day after January 16.
