Muzaffarnagar. On Saturday, the first day of the weekly corona curfew in the district, people completely adhered to the curfew. There was silence in the streets. All of the city’s shops and markets were closed. In the morning, shops with essential goods such as milk and vegetables were open for a while.
The weekly corona curfew is currently in effect on Saturday and Sunday according to government regulations. The city’s markets were completely closed on the first day of Saturday in the district. Vegetable and dairy shops opened at seven in the morning. They were locked after the allotted time around ten o’clock. Medical supply stores, petrol pumps and ATMs remained open. The streets of the city were completely silent. Few vehicles were seen on the streets. Most of the city’s people supported the administration by staying in their homes and following the Corona curfew. Police were deployed in Shiv Chowk, Mahavir Chowk, Meenakshi Chowk, Sarwat Gate, Malviya Chowk, Gandhi Colony, Jansath Road, Bhopa Road in the city.
