The people of Kashi bowed to the revolutionary Shachindranath Sanyal. On Thursday, the martyr’s 129th birthday, tribute was paid on behalf of Bangiya Samaj at Bengali Tola Inter College in Pandey Haveli. It was decided on behalf of the company that the idol of Shachindranath Sanyal will be set up in the park in front of Manas Mandir.
During the tribute meeting, Devashish Das, secretary of Bangiya Samaj, said that the revolutionary Shachindranath Sanyal, son of mother Kshirodvasini, and his three younger brothers Rabindra Nath Sanyal, Jitendra Nath Sanyal and Bhupendra Nath Sanyal were students of the Bengali Tola School. Shachindranath Sanyal was initially a member of the Anushilan Dal of Bengal and later a member of the Hindustan Prajatantra Sangh, the Indian revolutionary party. It was Sanyal ji who planned the Kakori incident.
Shachindranath Sanyal ji died on February 6, 1943 in Gorakhpur. The Bangiya Samaj decided that the idol of the revolutionary Amar Shaheed Shachindranath Sanyal should be set up in the park opposite the Tulsi Manas Temple. For this purpose, a proposal is submitted to the city administration and the district administration. Rector Dr. Jai Prakash Pandey, Dinesh Tiwari, Dr. Jayant Chaudhary, Dr. Devvrat Lahiri, Rakesh Jaiswal, Chanchal Mukherjee, Chandrashekhar Mallick, Antika Mukherjee, Sumit Bhattacharya etc. present.
