Dhampur. Most of the streets in the city have turned into ponds since late at night due to the intermittent rain. Because of this, people have many difficulties in movement.
The state road near the Prithviraj Police Post on Nahe road was interrupted due to the collapse of the state road due to soil erosion. As a precaution, people try to evacuate small vehicles one at a time by putting up roadblocks. They are having problems with water backing up outside of the officials’ home on the community property. People have suffered greatly from water leaks in government and non-government offices.
Farmers, on the other hand, have described rain as a blessing to the harvest. Farmers Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Pankaj, Mahipal Singh and Sohan Singh say that the harvests have benefited enormously from the rains. Plants like paddy, sugarcane, chari, bajra, etc. have unexpected benefits from this rain. In Mohalla Barwan, Fischmarkt, Nai Basti, New Sarai etc. the water is in the streets due to the lack of drainage systems. People have problems with movement. Citizens say they asked the community officials to drain the water, but the officials did not listen.
