The newly elected block chief and Kshetra Panchayat members will take an oath of office and confidentiality on Tuesday. To this end, DM Sujit Kumar has deployed officers in all blocks. The preparations for the swearing-in have been completed by the administration.
In the three-stage Panchayat election, 654 BDCs were elected in the eight blocs of the district. After the results were announced on May 2, the election of the block leaders was postponed due to corona infection. Because of this, the swearing-in program of the newly elected Kshetra Panchayat members has stalled. Now, following the election of the block chiefs on July 10, the government scheduled a joint oath program on Tuesday.
DM Sujit Kumar has nominated officers for the swearing-in program in each block. The appointed officer first takes the oath to the block chief. Then the block chief takes the oath of the Kshetra Panchayat members. DPRO Dr. Bal Govind Srivastava announced that on Tuesday at 11 a.m. the oath ceremony will be organized in all blocks. The program is organized according to the Kovid rules.
