Vivek Agnihotri-directed venture The Kashmir Files starring Anupam Kher has been doing brisk business since its release. At the end of its three weeks, the film’s collection has reached close to Rs. 250 crore mark. Presently pegged at Rs. 239.78 crores The film’s collection is expected to increase on the festive weekend of Gudi Padwa.
In this box office report, we look at the region-wise breakup of The Kashmir Files business within the domestic market. Not surprisingly, the Mumbai circuit leads the way with a collection of Rs. 65.69 crores, interestingly though; The Delhi-UP region is also not lagging behind in registering a collection of Rs. 64.29 crore These two major regions are followed by other places like East Punjab, Rajasthan, CP and CI which have registered collections of Rs. 31.83 crore Rs. 12.43 crores. 11.23 crore, and Rs. 9.51 crores respectively. Apart from these locations, The Kashmir Files has found audiences in Mysore, West Bengal and Nizam-AP, among other places, which have earned the film’s collections of Rs. 10.49 crore Rs. 10.42 crore and Rs. 8.99 crore
The business of The Kashmir Files is expected to cross Rs. 250 crores is running in its fourth weekend. Despite new releases, the film has maintained its trend in theatres.
