Monday started with the launch of Kajol and Revathi Salam Venky Trailer. The film follows the story of a bindaas mother (played by Kajol) and her son Venky (played by Vishal Jethwa) as they go through every challenge that life and circumstances throw at them. The trailer is full of emotional moments. Another highlight of the trailer is sure to be a cameo from superstar Aamir Khan, who appears at the end of the video and looks deep into the camera, one word spoken. Fans couldn’t keep their cool after the trailer was released and various tweets reflect the spirited mood of Aamir Khan fans.

Sharing the film’s trailer on social media, Kajol wrote, “Get ready to live life in Venky form. Salam Venky Trailer available now. Opening in theaters near you on December 9.
Salam VenkyDirected by Revathi, it will hit theaters on December 9. Apart from Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, the film also stars Aahana Kumra, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj and Anant Mahadevan.
Aamir Khan was last seen in the film in terms of work. Lal Singh ChaddhaHindi remake of Robert Zemeckis classic Forrest Gump (which featured Tom Hanks in the title role). The Hindi version was directed by Advait Chandan. The film also starred Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh.
