The Foundation Of The Temple Will Be Stronger


Ayodhya. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is serious about the temple being built on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi intact for centuries. The seriousness of the trust can be gauged from the fact that the trust is always ready to do something new for the strength of the temple.
Under this, once again a partial change has been made in the design of the foundation. The foundation will now last on 48 layers instead of 44. Not only this, the design of the raft has also been changed so that time is saved.
The goal of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is that the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya should be safe for a thousand years. For its grandeur and strength, the trust has associated the country’s renowned agencies with it. Eight reputed agencies are working closely with the trust so that the Ram temple is not only supernatural in the world but also an example in terms of technology and strength.
Under this, the trust first got the soil tested of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Soil capacity was measured using radar waves. Then it was decided that the foundation of Ram temple would be cast on 1200 pillars. Work on this also started in November 2020, three sets of four pillars were prepared.
Then as per the suggestion of IIT Chennai and Mumbai, when their capacity was measured by giving earthquake tremors on these pillars, the pillars cracked. In such a situation, the trust immediately rejected this design of the foundation.
After this, a panel of eminent technical experts of the country was formed and suggestions were sought for strengthening the foundation of Ram temple. During this, once again the engineers of IIT Hyderabad surveyed the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi complex and found that the height of the sea level is 105 meters from the place where the sanctum sanctorum is to be built. After several months of brainstorming, the foundation construction was decided by the RCC system.
It was decided that a total of 44 layers would be cast for the foundation of Ram temple. The trust also took the opinion of technical experts regarding which material to be used for molding the layer. Then in March 2021, the work of molding the foundation layer from the engineering system started. Now that the work of foundation construction is almost complete, in the meantime, the trust has once again made a partial change in the design of the foundation and increased it by four layers.
By making partial changes in the design of the temple, the strength of the temple will increase. Therefore, the foundation of the temple will now rest on 48 layers instead of 44 so that the temple can remain intact for centuries. So far 42 layers of foundation have been cast. The layer construction work will be completed by September 20.
The trust has also changed the model of Ram temple earlier. There was a demand from the saints of Ramnagari including lakhs of Ram devotees that the size of the temple should be increased. Keeping in mind the sentiments of the devotees and saints, the trust also brainstormed with the architect of the Ram temple, CB Sompura, for months. After all the technical brainstorming, finally the size of the temple was increased.
The height of VHP’s temple model was 128 feet, which has now increased to 161 feet. The VHP’s temple model had three domes, the new model would have five temple domes. In this way, on the demand of Ram devotees, the trust increased the height of Ram temple by 33 feet. Ram Mandir will not only be the center of faith, but the trust has also started work to develop modern facilities for the devotees in the temple premises.
Dr. Anil Mishra, trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that a partial change has been made in the design of the Ram temple. Now its foundation will rest on 48 layers instead of 44. Doing this will strengthen the foundation of the temple.
There has also been a slight change in the design of the raft. The layer molding will be completed by September 20. After this, the construction of the raft and the plinth will start.
