The fire brigade and Ministry of Health personnel are deployed in the counting centers

Baghpat Preparations for the counting of the Panchayat elections began on May 2nd. Fire protection equipment and personnel are used in the counting centers for fire protection. In view of the corona infection, health workers are deployed in the counting centers. District Election Officer DM Rajkamal Yadav has instructed the Chief Fire Officer and Chief Medical Officer to deploy staff and health officers to counting centers.
The counting of votes will begin at 8:00 a.m. on May 2 in all blocks in the district and is expected to last through May 3. A counting training course will take place from April 29th to 30th at the Gateway International School. The counting of votes takes place in the presence of a large number of officials and employees in the training centers and counting centers. During this time, candidates and their representatives will also be present at the centers. The establishment of a medical facility will be done in counting centers of all development blocks with a view to corona infection. The DM directed the CMO to procure medical personnel and medication, including an ambulance (artificial oxygen system), to prevent infection of any developmental blocks during the count. That being said, the Chief Fire Officer was instructed to deploy fire protection equipment and personnel in all development blocks during the vote count.
