29 Aligarh employees who lost their lives to a corona infection while on duty in the three-stage Panchayat elections will receive a voluntary contribution. The list of these personnel was published by the additional chief secretary of the government, Manoj Kumar Singh. Based on this list, the government-set goodwill amount will now be made available at the district level.
A three-stage panchayat was held in the district in the last week of April. The election results were published in the first week of May. At that time, the second corona wave was at its peak in the circle. Many employees fell victim to a corona infection during this time. The same situation prevailed throughout the state, including Aligarh. Thereafter, it was ordered at the level of the Prime Minister that all employees who died of Corona in the electoral service within the next 30 days receive an allowance from the government. For this purpose, data were sought at the district level. The district submitted the data to the government. Based on this data, the government has now published the list.
