According to official information, the district recorded largely fine rainfall in the month of July. On July 27th and 28th, the weather cooled down due to rain with drizzle. However, the rains have exacerbated the suffering of the residents of the newly settled areas and there is a possibility that the rice fields will be damaged by waterlogging in the areas along the canal. Along with the cultivation of chilli crops, the farmers had to suffer from the rising water level in the foothills of Yamuna. The deputy director for agricultural expansion Dr. Hansraj said the rains in July were beneficial to farmers, with the exception of the low-lying areas. The rain did not break the record. With the rains recovering, both the kharif and rabi harvests are expected to be good. If you look at the data from the Ministry of Agriculture, more rain was registered from Firozabad Tehsil to the headquarters.
