In the preview, Kartik Aaryan’s character is described as “a shy, lonely, honest, gullible, innocent, nervous, truthful, repulsive, alert and provocative dentist”. In some shots, Karthik is seen treating patients. In another shot he is seen dancing and also sitting with a turtle. The teaser also features a silhouette shot of a corpse being dragged away (presumably by Dr. Freddy). At the end of the preview, Dr. Freddy stares at a patient and says, “Sorry, sir, you’ve been waiting.”

Sharing the trailer for the film, the film’s lead actor Kartik Aaryan wrote, “Welcome to the world. FreddyAppointments are open December 2, 2022.” He posted with the hashtag #ReadyForFreddy.
