To this end, MP Pradeep Chaudhary met with Ashok Kataria, Minister of State for Road Transport. The government did not approve the budget for the construction of the Shamli Roadways Workshop, and later the government received an estimate of Rs 50 lakh for the construction of the Shamli Roadways Workshop border wall. But the money for the depot workshop could not be released by the government.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Road Transport and the National Highways Authority of the Indian government have acquired 674 square meters of road repair shop in the village of Fatehpur on Panipat-Khatima Highway. JE RP Singh of UP Roadways Meerut said that after 634 square meters of workshop land from the Shamli Roadways depot goes onto the highway, the appraisal of the workshop building and boundary wall will go back to the government.
