Sultanpur. Employees registered with the Ministry of Labor enjoy benefits from many government programs. For the workers who have renewed their registration in the department, the government has launched the Disaster Relief Relief Program. Thousands of rupees are transferred to the account of the workers via DBT. 87 thousand workers are registered in the labor department.
Of these, 27,367 employees have renewed their registration through the department and the public utility center. On June 9th, the amount of the disaster relief program was transferred to the accounts of 27,367 workers, and details of their bank accounts are being requested from the rest of the workers.
Labor inspection officer Alankrita Upadhyay said 89,000 workers in the district are eligible for the disaster relief program operated by the Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Of this, the first installment of one thousand rupees in disaster relief was sent by the government through DBT to the accounts of 27,367 workers.
The remaining workers were asked to renew. After the renewal, an amount of one thousand rupees will be transferred to the workers’ account. There is no renewal fee until June 30th. (Conversation)
