A 33 kV line is to be laid for the power supply from the Dohna substation to the airport. This approximately 13 km long high-voltage line will cross the railway line and lead through the forest reserve. NOC from both departments is required for this. NOC has been granted by the railways, but NOC has not yet been received by the forest authority. Therefore, the work on laying the high-voltage line will not continue. So far only pillars have been installed. Work has not yet started on the places where the route is to run underground. Rajeev Kumar, Xen, Second Division of Electricity Corporation, said letters had been written many times to the officials concerned for NOC. Even after that, no certificate of opposition will be received. The substation built for the airport is also not in operation due to the suspension of work on the high-voltage line.
