AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill retained her championship until January 2022, the longest reign by any AEW member. However, she had just challenged someone for her championship. It is none other than Max Coster, the current AEW Tag Team Champion along with Anthony Bowens and one half of The Acclaimed.
Acclaimed have defended their gold a total of six times since September 2022, when they defeated Sworn in Our Glory on the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite. However, it seems that Caster plans to become a double champion, as he challenged Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship on Twitter. When Jade tweeted, “I love my life (heart face emoji),” Max Castor retweeted it, replying, “Just wait until I win you the TBS title.”
Jade Kargil could reach an interesting milestone in AEW
The Acclaimed have defended their tag team titles six times, yet they still pale in comparison to what Jade Cargill has been able to accomplish over the past year. Kargil has defended her title a total of 17 times! Yes, you read that right. In fact, his recent match against Sky Blue in the V Belt Battle was extremely competitive.
Kargil’s current AEW record is an impressive 49-0. With each match, the undefeated champion gets closer and closer to the 50-0 mark, which is a huge milestone in AEW. Well, it will be interesting to see if Jade is able to get to the 50-0 mark, or if her undefeated reign comes to an unfortunate end.
