Chitrakoot. Starting July 12, Dastak will launch a door-to-door campaign in the district to search for TB patients.
The Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav said that if symptoms are detected during the campaign, treatment will be given along with the examination. The district’s TB officer, Dr. Narendra Kumar Kuraichaya said that in addition to ASHA, Anganwadi workers will also go door to door. Will ask family members if anyone is coughing and coughing phlegm here. If the answer is yes, ASHA staff will write down that person’s name, address, and cell phone number. The list of these people is given by the ASHA employee to the superintendent of the community health center concerned. After uploading their details to the NIKSHAY portal, it will be sent to the TB patient’s account at Rs.500 per month to improve their diet. He said that if a TB patient is a worker, enrolling on a TB treatment card with the Department of Labor will make efforts to give them the benefits of other systems.
The district tuberculosis commissioner said cough, cough with phlegm and blood, profuse sweating, fever for more than a week, fatigue, weight loss, chest pain with difficulty breathing are the main symptoms of tuberculosis.
