Divisional Commissioner Lokesh M directed all the Chief Development Officers of the division to deposit the electricity bills of Anganwadi centers, Panchayat buildings and basic education schools in three days. He said that the work of construction, widening and strengthening of new roads should be completed within the stipulated time frame. Before and after pothole free photographs of roads constructed by Public Works Department, RES, Zilla Panchayat and Mandi etc. should also be submitted.
On Monday, the Divisional Commissioner reviewed the progress of the divisional development works in the Circuit House auditorium. He said that all schools and Anganwadi centers have been closed during the Corona period. Therefore, the Electricity Corporation should submit the electricity bill with the prescribed minimum fee. He directed that the roads to be built in the current financial year should be completed in a timely and quality manner. There should not be any situation of water logging in any of the Gaushala of the Mandal. Rapid vaccination should be done to prevent infectious diseases in animals.
Under the Chief Minister’s participation scheme, malnourished families should be given milch cows. Also, 100 percent verification should be done every month before disbursing the amount. He said that community toilets and panchayat buildings should be made attractive. In places where land is not available for Panchayat building and community toilets, land should be selected soon. During this, Joint Development Commissioner Sunil Kumar Srivastava, Municipal Commissioner Gyanendra Singh, CDO Saharanpur Vijay Kumar, Muzaffarnagar Alok Yadav, Shamli Shambhunath Tiwari etc. were present.
