Street bus collided with a stationary truck
Farrukhabad. The Etah depot street bus collided from behind on Monday evening with a truck parked on the Kayamganj bypass near the village of Kuiyanboot. The bus was damaged. One of the three passengers on board was slightly bruised.
The Etah depot bus came from Aligarh to Farrukhabad. The driver Satyendra Singh fell asleep on Monday night around one o’clock. As a result, a truck parked on the side of the road collided from behind near the village of Kuianboot of Maudarwaya Police Station on the Kayamganj bypass. At the time of the accident, the three passengers on the bus and its operator Sher Singh started screaming.
The collision was so severe that the driver’s side of the bus was damaged five feet long. One passenger on the bus suffered minor injuries. From there, the three passengers drove to their homes in another vehicle.
The bus was brought to the stand on Tuesday morning at around 10.30 a.m. by a crane that reached the information desk. Senior center director Gaurishankar said the depot in question had been informed. A passenger on the bus had a slight pinch.
