Saharapur. The strike of the agitating staff against the transfer continued on Friday the fifth day. The employees have called for a maximum number of participants to take part in the Dharna on July 26th in Lucknow.
In the ongoing dharna at the CMO office, UP Ministerial Association of Medicine and Public Health District President Dev Kumar said the referral orders are arbitrary and will not be accepted. The agitation is carried out for as long as it is necessary to protect the interests of the employees. He thanked Sanjeev Sharma, Rajesh Kashyap, Yogendra Yadav, Vinay Jain, Anil, Sudha, Swapna Shukla, Kishore Saini from NRHM, Dhananjay Singh etc. who had come to support the Dharna. The General Secretary of the State Employees’ Association, Shashi Kumar Saini, said that we are not against the transfer policy, but the arbitrariness of the transfer cannot be accepted. On July 26th, the call for the entire transfer list to be canceled is reinforced by a sit-in at Health Bhawan, Lucknow. District Minister RM Nair said that out of 50 health workers from Saharanpur district, 25 health workers have been transferred to remote areas. The transfers of women workers are very advanced. Ajay Bhatnagar, district president of the State Employees Federation, said there were instructions on changing staff in the mandate, but it was done arbitrarily.
