Siddharthnagar. Soldiers from the 43rd Corps Border Outpost in Khunuwan caught a suspect late Saturday evening. There were also four Nepalese teenagers with him. During interrogation, it was found that the youths were being taken to Ludhiana, Punjab, on the pretext of making a living. After the interrogation, they were all turned over to the Nepalese police.
According to the acting commandant Amit Singh, the soldiers at the border post checked Khunuwan late on Saturday evening. Four young people and one person were found crossing the border. After seeing the suspect, the soldiers stopped him for interrogation. It stated that work in the Punjab city of Ludhiana had started on the pretext of getting work in a hotel. After interrogation, the four Nepalese teenagers, including the smuggler, were turned over to the Maryadpur police team of Nepal. Now the Nepalese police are investigating the matter.
