Solani River In Flood, Flood Situation

Purkaji (Muzaffarnagar). The Solani River has come pouring due to the water released from Uttarakhand. Because of this, the water came out of the river and came onto the streets of many villages. As a result, a flood-like situation arose in Khadar. The movement of the villagers has been completely hampered by the deforestation of water in the forests, fields and trails. There is panic among the villagers due to the continuous rise in water.
The Solani River regained momentum after water was released from Uttarakhand on Thursday. Due to water coming from the river, about 24 villages like Rajgallapur, Ramnagar, Sherpur Nangla, Bhadaula, Bhadauli, Almawala, Jindawala, Chamrawala, Suheli, Chanchak, Panchli, Farakhpur etc. have become flood-like. Because of this, there was panic among the villagers. Due to the possibility of raising the water level, the villagers have started to keep the things kept in the houses in safe places.
Villagers from Rajendra Panchli, Raju Prajapati, Sadhuram, Satnam Singh, Krishnapal, Yadram, Bijendra Singh and Mahakar Singh reported that the feeding problem due to the water in the forests and fields had been going on for a week. In the absence of feed, the animals must be fed with straw. The situation has become very bad as more water comes in on Thursday. The movement of the villagers was completely hampered by the water that came onto the streets of many villages. The villagers cannot leave their homes. The villagers said that the situation would worsen as the water rises.

SDO Ashok Jain said that a flood-like situation will prevail in the Purkaji Khadar region for the next two days. Currently, the water level of both rivers in Dhanauri has normalized. A project to build a dam on the Solani River has been sent to the government by the department. The project was approved by the government of Uttar Pradesh and forwarded to the Flood Protection Council in Patna. Ashok Jain, Sanjeev Malik, Shravan Kumar, Shivendra Bharadwaj were present during this SDO drainage.
