Purkaji (Muzaffarnagar). The Solani river has come in spate due to the water released from Uttarakhand. There is panic among the villagers due to the continuous rise of water. Solani river of Khadar area again came in spate due to release of water from Uttarakhand on Thursday night. The water came out of the river and filled the forests and fields. Due to which the movement of the villagers was completely affected. Due to the continuous increase in water, panic has spread among the villagers of about 24 villages like Rajgallapur, Ramnagar, Sherpur Nangla, Bhadaula, Bhadauli, Almawala, Zindawala, Chamrawala, Suheli, Chanchak, Panchli, Farakhpur etc. Due to the possibility of increasing water, the villagers have started keeping the things kept in the houses in safe places. BDC members Rajendra Panchali, Raju Prajapati, Sadhuram, Satnam Singh, Krishnapal, Yadram, Bijendra Singh, Mahakar Singh etc. villagers told that the problem of fodder has been there for the last two weeks due to water in the forests and fields. In the absence of fodder, cattle have to be fed straw. The situation has become very bad with the river coming in full spate on Friday due to the water coming again from the night. Villagers told that the situation will worsen with the increase in water. In this regard, Irrigation Department SDO Ashok Jain said that four thousand cusecs of water was released. There is nothing dangerous.
