Labor and Employment Minister Swami Prasad Maurya held a virtual meeting

Bareilly. State Labor and Employment Minister Swami Prasad Maurya said that child labor is a bad practice and that all people in society must work together to stop it. He spoke on Saturday in a virtual meeting about the abolition of child labor. Deputy Labor Commissioner Anupama Gautam reported on the performance of Naya Savera Yojana.
In the virtual meeting organized on International Child Labor Prohibition Day, Deputy Labor Commissioner Anupama Gautam said 1,168 children in 159 hotspots identified as part of the Naya Savera program in the district have been released and put into education. Under the Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana, 104 children were identified and the families of 24 children were registered with the Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. During this time, Vikas Gautam, son of Murari Lal, son of a child labor family identified under the Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme, received a bicycle assistance scholarship after passing 9th grade and Nooren Khan’s daughter Taiba after she Passed 10th grade and received 11th grade. The deputy labor commissioner Surendra Singh, Maheep Singh, Ajit Kanojia, labor enforcement officer Priyanka Verma, etc. participated in the program. The program was carried out by State Coordinator SRC Rizwan Ali.
