Kasganj. The pace of payment for the sugar cane procured in the new shredding season is very slow. Of the arrears of 54 billion rupees, only 81 lakh rupees have been paid by the sugar factory so far. Farmers are worried about this. Here the ministry has also shown seriousness in paying farmers’ sugar cane fees. The department has issued notices to the sugar factory instructing it to expedite payment.
The Nayauli sugar factory had bought sugar cane from the district’s sugar cane farmers and farmers in Badaun and Aligarh districts during this harvest season.
