The rebuilding of the bypass road built on the Louva River on Duddhi-Hathinala National Highway-39 was due to the negligence of the executing organization. The pace of work is so slow that it is hard to tell when it will be ready.
Due to the permanent construction of a bridge over the Louva, the diversion bridge was built next to it. Due to the flooding in the river in the past, this bridge was washed away in the strong current. Since then, traffic on the Duddhi-Hathinala road has ceased. Connectivity from around a dozen villages has also been lost. Due to the negligence of the officials in the affected department, the new diversion bridge has not yet been able to be built. Because of this, people have to travel long distances. Vehicles for many states are moved on this route, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. Since the bridge has collapsed, they will also be passed on a different route. The water in the river has been falling for several days. Even so, the work of laying stones and pipes is slow. At this rate, construction is expected to take more than a week. In this regard, SDM Ramesh Kumar said the officials concerned have been instructed to build the bypass bridge soon. If the work is not completed soon, a letter will be sent to the DM to take action against them.
