According to the old timetable, this train leaves Siwan on Saturday at 7.55 a.m. and arrives at Gorakhpur at 1.25 p.m. with stops at all stations. The return of this train from Gorakhpur is at 7.15pm. Due to the cessation of train operations, it became very difficult to get to Gorakhpur and Siwan together with the Padrauna District Headquarters. Shyamsunder Vishwakarma, chairman of Severhi Nagar Panchayat, says Tamkuhirod is an important trading center on the border with Bihar. The railway is like a lifeline for the people in this area.
