Shruti Haasan was the sporty showstopper for Adidas Originals x Inter-Fire at FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week

When sustainability breaks out of class, nothing gets better. Such is the future fashion buffs need to see, as Adidas Originals x Inter-Agni brought to our screens today through FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week. The second day of the live event, has sustainability as its main theme and we can’t agree with anything like making fashion conscious, real and game-changing for good.

We looked on the bright side today as Adidas Originals and Ujjwal Dubey collaborated to create the perfect combination of casual, Indo-western style and sports shoes. As models walked the ramp and proved that there are no rules in styling, we saw monochrome satin silk outfits with quirky prints, dhoti pants, cropped shirts, suit sets, salwar pants, slit baggy pants and many flowy outfits.

The highlight of the show was the showstopper who walked in his casual-chic element, and girl, Shruti Haasan, how effortlessly charming you are. The actress rocked a coordinating black silk suit set with colorful prints, as lauded by the ace designer for her menswear collection. The starlet’s suit included padded shoulders, an overlap feature, and a mandarin collar. With straight-fit trousers and sneakers, she was a vibe. A very contemporary one, the kind absolutely every millennial would love. They complemented many box braids as if the bold mauve lipstick blended perfectly with her eye makeup. Fab and fear are the words that best describe this look.

There is a purpose behind every story and the show was about celebrating those who believe in change. We would love to see it that way. The sports shoe brand that is revered for turning plastic bottles and ocean waste into sneakers and the man behind Inter-Fire who assures us that the present and future lies in making a bisexual movement possible. Their designs speak a lot as we have seen some extraordinary designs today.
