The speed of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham’s work has been stopped due to corona infection. Given the slow pace, the new deadline for completion of the construction work has been extended to November. By May, 53 percent of the work had been done.

The work of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham was also influenced by the corona infection. Nevertheless, the footbridge work on Ganga Ghat has been completed and the final work must now begin. At the same time, work is underway on 19 of the 23 buildings in the Dham region. This completes the structure of Temple Chowk, the Tourist Facilitation Center, Mumukshu Bhawan and some shops.
The temple complex will have the Baikuntha temple next to the Sanctum Sanctorum, the Tarakeswar and the Rani Bhawani temples with Dandapani. Other than that, the rest of the deity will be erected next to the Sanctum Sanctorum near the campus. The complex will have four gates 34 feet high.
