In this context, 24,675.20 tons of wheat were fed to the Food Corporation of India. In exchange for the payment of lakh 6921.70 to the farmers, lakh rupees 4943.83 were paid. Wheat is stored in the depot of the Food Corporation of India, PEG Khairada, CWC Nawab Tank and FCI Atra in the district.
The DM instructed all procurement centers to pay 100 percent of the farmers to all procurement centers and to donate the remaining wheat to the Food Corporation of India for subsidies. He directed the Food Corporation of India to immediately begin warehouse work in Khairada, the Mandi location.
