People from the villages of Bhagwanpur, Khurhuria, Gokhula, Raktahiya, Gidhwana, Banarhi, Sampoorna Nagar, Kaukhor, Mahuava, Buxar, Kishunwa, Karwati and Kaithwalia in the Diara area of ​​Amvakhas were trapped there due to the rising water level in the Gandak River. A few days ago, the motorized boat got stuck in the river due to the rise in the water level.
Upon receiving information, the DM and SP as well as other officers reached the boat and everyone on the boat was safely brought out by the NDRF team. On the same day, by order of the DM, proceedings against the owner of the boat were registered at the Barwapatti police station on report from Halka Lekhpal. Around 250 people were still trapped in these villages, who were rescued on Tuesday by the SDRF team in Barwapatti Ghat on the instructions of the Tehsil administration.
