SDM reached Gohawar and looked for a survey report
Noorpur SDM Chandpur VK Maurya reached Gohawar on Sunday when the news was published in Amar Ujala. He attended a meeting of the monitoring committee and instructed Asha and Anganwadi staff to go door to door every day and report back.
On Sunday, Amar Ujala published the news of the deaths of 35 people in a month and a half in Gohawar village. SDM Kunwar VK Maurya then reached the village on Monday evening and met with the members of the village monitoring committee in the primary school. He said the government is making every effort to prevent corona and other diseases. In the village, medical kits from ASHAs are being distributed through door-to-door examinations. There have been 17 deaths in Gohawar Jait and Gohawar Hallu in the past 1 month. One woman, Usha Devi, died of corona while the others who died were old and already sick. He instructed the ASHA and Anganwadi staff to go door to door in the village to measure and report on a daily basis.
The village chief instructed Munni Devi and Param Singh to repair the sanitary facilities in the village and to spray disinfectants. He said people over the age of 45 will be vaccinated. He said anyone over the age of 45 must have their vaccinations. During this time Naib Tehsildar, Milda Lekhapal, the head of the Gram Panchayats and members of the monitoring committee were present.
