Rae Bareli. After completing the third application and verification stage within the framework of RTE, a lottery was held in which schools were allocated to the 115 selected children. That is, all of these children are admitted to private schools. The order for this will be issued promptly after approval by the district administrator.
As part of the RTE, children from disadvantaged groups and weaker classes are admitted to the prescribed places in private schools. The application process for the third phase lasted until July 15th.
The review was then carried out by July 18. In the third phase, 161 applications were received which were examined and nine applications were rejected due to various omissions.
Thereafter, 152 applications found suitable were entered into the lottery, but only 115 applicants could be assigned to schools. School allocation could not be made to 37 candidates due to the full number of places.
District coordinator (community education) Dr. Sanjeev Gupta announced that in the third phase 115 students were allocated schools in the lottery. The admission order will shortly be issued so that the selected 115 students can be admitted to the assigned schools.
619 in the first phase and 204 in the second phase
Under RTE, 619 students were admitted to private schools in the first phase and 204 in the second phase, while 115 candidates were selected in the third phase.
In this way, the number of students who benefited from this session has increased to 938. The application process for the first phase lasted from March 2nd to March 25th, during which 862 applications were received. In the lottery on April 5, schools were assigned to 619 applicants, whose admission decision was issued two months later, in June.
In the second phase, 486 applications were received. A lottery was held on June 15, in which 204 selected candidates were allocated to schools. A few days later, an order was issued regarding their admission. Now the third phase of the lottery has been carried out. The order will be issued shortly.
