Actress Sayantani Ghosh, who recently tied the knot with Anugrah Tiwari, is running late for her honeymoon. Earlier in an interview post her marriage she had mentioned that it would be a delayed honeymoon for her.
Sayatani was back on the sets of Tera Yaar Hoon Main a few days after her wedding and hence the newlyweds had to wait for a more opportune time to go on their honeymoon. Now that the show is over on 29th January and the couple has decided to execute the plan.
In a recent interview with BT, Sayantani spoke about the same and shared, “A TV actor gets time to be with his family and travel between shows and I am going to make the most of it. We are locked down for 10 days. Anugrah and I had not stayed abroad together. So, we were sure of going somewhere outside India. Keeping in mind the COVID-19 norms and protocols, we are not too far Wanted to go. We definitely didn’t want to go to Maldives, because we’ve seen it a lot on social media (laughs!) So, we focused on Sri Lanka.”
He further added, “We have been traveling for almost a month since TYHM ended. We spent a couple of weeks each at my in-laws’ house, Jaipur and Maika, Kolkata. We went in winters and hence, one such Wanted to go to a place that is less chill. Dubai was also on the list. However, Grace didn’t want it to be a shopping stay. The intention was to explore a new country and culture as we spent some quality time together .
Talking about the importance of number 9 in their life. Sayantani says, “We started dating on 9th August 2013. Incidentally, 9th December also happened to be our reception date and we went on our honeymoon on 9th March. So, this number is very special. We are on 9th of every month. We will continue to celebrate it as a grace, because I and I are very passionate about these little meaningful things.”
