On Monday evening, the water level of the river was measured 40 cm above the danger mark on the meter level built in Thana Ghat. The river flowed 35 cm above the 66.50 hazard mark on the meter built in Thana Ghat on the banks of the Saryu River on Monday afternoon. The water level of the river has reached 66.90 in the evening due to the five centimeter rise in the water level. Due to the weather and possible flooding of the river, construction work on the Dream Project dam up to the Katilwa-Kaparwar Sangam bank was suspended. The river is putting pressure on Kurh Parsiyan, Katilwa village, along with dam construction in Mehiawan, etc. Vegetables sown on the coast have been submerged due to rising water levels. SDM Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said the flood situation is being monitored continuously. Things are normal.
