Salman Khan to team up with Kamal Haasan’s Vikram filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj? Here’s what we know
Mythri Productions is one of the leading film houses from the south. Salman Khan fans have often heard that he has collaborated with the banner. Apparently they had presented him with a screenplay by Harish Shankar which the superstar is considering. Now Bollywood UttarPradeshLive.Com has reported that Salman Khan may just be announcing a big movie with the production house. And the director is none other than Lokesh Kanagaraj. He rides high on Vikram’s success. Mythri Productions plans to introduce the filmmaker to the Hindi market with a Salman Khan film.
Sources told Bollywood UttarPradeshLive.Com that a secret meeting between Salman Khan, Lokesh and Mythri took place in Hyderabad. He was there recently for the godfather. The trio have been discussing a possible collaboration and the superstar is just as excited about it. It appears they will ditch the idea after Salman Khan and Lokesh Kanagaraj are free from current and pending commitments. This was reported by Bollywood UttarPradeshLive.Com. In 2021, Salman Khan was offered the official Hindi remake of Master by Murad Khetani. Apparently he wanted Lokesh Kanagaraj, who directed the original film, to direct Salman Khan in the action film. But the deal never materialized.
A superstar with a mass personality, Salman Khan is the darling of Southern directors. Atlee, who is doing Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, had submitted many scripts to Bhai but none of them came to fruition. According to the portal, others like Shankar, Trivikram and Koratala Siva have also approached him for a film from time to time. Lokesh Kanagaraj will once again team up with Thalapathy Vijay for a film.
