Ukraine claims 352 civilians, including 14 children, have been killed in Russia’s attacks that began last Thursday. Talks are on between the two countries after Russian President Vladimir Putin placed his condition.

  3. The UN refugee wing said more than half a million people have fled Ukraine since the start of Russia’s invasion.

  4. Russian President Vladimir Putin told France’s Emmanuel Macron that the Ukraine deal is possible only if Ukraine is neutral, “denounced” and “demilitarized” and Russian control of Crimea is formally recognized.

  5. Negotiators from Ukraine and Russia will return to their capital cities for consultations and plans for renewed talks, the two sides announced after their first meeting since the war broke out.

  6. Russia is facing international isolation as talks to resolve the conflict have not been successful.

  7. The UN General Assembly is holding a meeting on the Ukraine crisis and is set to vote later this week to isolate Russia.

  8. For the second time in a week, India did not participate in the UN resolution on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. New Delhi also welcomed the decision of Moscow and Kyiv to hold talks on the Belarus border.

  9. The United States expelled 12 Russian diplomats at the United Nations over national security concerns.

  10. Ukraine’s Western allies increased arms transfers in support, and Britain called for such transfers to be expanded. Finland agreed to send 2,500 assault rifles and 1,500 anti-tank weapons. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada would supply anti-tank weapons and advanced ammunition.
