The TV world is gearing up for two weddings in two of the country’s most popular and most watched TV shows – Anupama and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Anupama stars Anu aka Rupali Ganguly and Anuj Kapadia aka Gaurav Khanna, while Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai sees Abhimanyu aka Harshad Chopra and Akshara aka Pranali Rathod tie the knot. The popularity of Abhira and Maan is as wide as the popularity of the TV show. Talking about Maa’s marriage, it has been a very emotional and fulfilling journey, we must say. Anuj had fallen in love with Anupama since college days. She kept her love for Anuj a secret for 26 years. He wanted to admit that his feelings for Anupama were a bit late because the day he decided to confess his feelings, he had to face the shock of his life, the marriage of Anu and Vanraj. He left the country and returned after 26 years and met Anupama at a college reunion. Anuj also helped the Shahs with loans. Anuj continued to love Anupama from afar. When Anupama came to know about her feelings, she kept her distance from him. However, soon she falls in love with him because of her genuine feelings. And after a lot of hard work, Anu (Rupali) and Anuj (Gaurav) are going to tie the knot. Maa’s marriage is starting from 4th May. Abhira, on the other hand, has a different journey. Abhimanyu (Harshad) and Akshara (Pranali) fall in love at first sight. However, things change when Aarohi misunderstands Abhi’s proposal. Birla was planning a wedding with Aarohi while the boy was in love with Akshara. Goenka had intended to propose marriage to Akshara. But then Aarohi and Abhi’s marriage started. Near the wedding, Akshara realized her mistake and confessed her feelings in front of everyone. After that both the lovebirds had to persuade Akshara’s family for their marriage. Right now there is some trouble going on between Abhi and Akshu because of Aarohi. However, the wedding will happen soon. They are down with the sangeet and the mehendi ceremony, let’s hope Haldi is happy and as is the wedding. BTW, that brings us to our question. Interestingly, both the shows are produced by the same production house, Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Cut Productions. While we know that all weddings in Yeh Risha Kya Kehlata Hai are grand, it will be interesting to see what kind of weddings we will see in Anupama.
