In the same month, gas supplies are started in about two thousand houses of Rajgarh, Aldico Colony, Rajghat Colony of the metropolis. Gas connections will be provided in 8,000 houses in the Awas Vikas colony and in the Sipri Bazar area by the end of the year. Central UP Gas Limited has intensified its work in this regard.
Central UP Gas Limited in the metropolis started work in 2019 to provide gas from the pipeline. Under this pipeline was laid in Rajgarh, housing estate, Sipri Bazar area. This completes the main unit for the gas supply in Rajgarh. From there, gas supply to two thousand houses in Aldico Colony, Rajghat Colony will begin in July. Registration is done to deliver PNG to households. For this purpose, all areas of the metropolis were measured. After the pipeline is laid, the company’s employees will go door to door and connect for five hundred rupees. After connection, the meter is installed in the house. In which the details of the gas used are recorded. Based on which invoice is sent every two months by courier or email. There are currently 500 homes connected in the Rajgarh area. After that, links will be given to all areas including Housing Development, Omshanti Green, Royal City. According to the project managers, 10,000 houses in the metropolis should be occupied by the end of the year. This should cover the entire metropolis in the next five years. In the first phase, some locations will start supplying this month.

By getting gas from the pipeline, people are relieved of the hassle of bottles. Gas is also supplied 24 hours a day. Five safety valves will be installed on the house. This means that the gas can be switched off in the event of a leak. According to the company, the risk of fire in PNG is lower compared to liquefied gas.
PNG is cheap
The PNG delivered for the pipeline is very cheap in terms of liquefied gas cylinders. The cost of one unit is 36 rupees. Whereas a 14.2 kg cylinder comes to around seven hundred rupees. Sometimes its price reaches up to nine hundred rupees.
Five CNG stations are started
Central UP Gas Limited will also start producing CNG in Jhansi. To this end, a pipeline was laid from Raksa to Lahargird. After that, five new CNG filling stations will be opened in the metropolis. After that, CNG prices in Jhansi will also fall.
Petroleum Minister will start virtually today
On Tuesday, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will virtually put the main unit set up in Rajgarh into operation. Meanwhile, the Petroleum Minister will also speak to the women of the houses where connections were given in the Rajgarh area. The future goal of the project is also discussed. Central UP Gas Limited officials reached out to Jhansi regarding the program.
