Roads And Temples Will Be Illuminated With 154 Crores In Ramnagari

Ayodhya. The first DPR of the proposed plan Solar City has been presented by the Consultant Agency in the vision document prepared to develop Ramnagari as a spiritual mega city and modern tourism city. DPR will be prepared in three phases to develop Ramnagari as Solar City. The DPR for the first phase has been prepared. It will cost Rs 154 crore for 34 MW. After getting the DPR, Ayodhya Development Authority has sent it to NEDA for further process. In order to develop Ayodhya as a world-class tourism city, the entire Ayodhya city is to be made a solar city as per the announcement of the Chief Minister. This work has been included in the vision document of Ayodhya. In addition, its DPR consultant team is preparing LEA Associates, CP Kukreja and L&T. Ramnagari has been divided into three phases to make it a solar city. In the first phase, street lights and domestic houses of the streets of Ayodhya have been included. In the second phase, the solar lights for commercial use and in the final phase, the major sightseeing places including various government offices have been included. In this, the DPR of the first phase has been presented by the consultant team on Saturday. All the streets and roads of the city will be lit with solar energy at a cost of Rs 154 crore. Along with this, domestic connections will also be given. Generally, the electricity consumption in Ayodhya city is around 50 MW per day. For this a survey was conducted by the consultant team. In which the maximum consumption of Ayodhya city was found to be 45 MW. On the basis of this, a plan has been made to develop entire Ayodhya as a solar city in three phases. It is decided that at present 76 percent electricity is used in Ayodhya as domestic consumption. While 12 percent commercial and around 12 percent electricity is used for other works. In view of this, the DPR of the first phase has been finalised. In this a DPR of 34 MW has been submitted. The DPR of the remaining will come in other two phases. This is the fourth DPR in the form of Solar City in 11 DPRs being built under the supervision of Ayodhya Development Authority. Earlier, the consultant team has presented the DPR of the roads connecting Ram temple, tourist facility center and smart road in the proposed plans of Ayodhya. However, work has not started on any plan so far. The funds for the roads connecting the Ram temple have not been released yet even after the approval. Due to this the whole work is hanging in the balance. The DPR of Solar City has been submitted by the consultant team. Right now this is the first DPR of Solar City.
