Revatipur / Mardah. Decades ago, the Pakri-Gopalpur Link Road and the Ring Road, built at the expense of Lakhs, were dilapidated and in a state of disrepair. It is the result of the departments’ apathy that this main road has become a pothole. It is difficult to pass through rainwater. Mardah: The 12 km road from the local bus station, Mau-Ghazipur National Highway No. 29 to Jalalabad Market via the village of Kanshari Kabirpur, has been damaged in many places. In such a situation, people have to put a lot of effort into traveling. Two-wheelers and cyclists fall and injure themselves every day. This route is the main road to reach Dulhapur Bazar via Kabirpur, Sirsi, Bagahi, Lahurapur, Jamuari, Bahalolpur, Tanti, Nayakdih of the region. The road has become dilapidated as a result of the breakdown, which creates the possibility of an accident. The villagers said they faced many problems due to the dilapidated road. Here the traffic jam continued on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur National Highway on the second day. Traffic from overloaded vehicles involved in the work of the six-lane and four-lane vehicles on Kardah Kaithavali Chatti continues indiscriminately. Because the road is swampy, large vehicles drown in it. Dozens of trucks arrived from Tanda Ambedkar Nagar with ashes and the truck crashed into the road on the four-lane road under construction next to the six-lane road. Traffic came to a standstill because the truck sank in the middle of the road. Villagers say the long line of vehicles on either side made it difficult to get two-wheelers.
