Hamirpur. In the village of Diggi bordering the city, rainwater fills the path due to the lack of a Pucca road and clogging of the drainage system. This turns this road into a pond. It’s hard for people to go. People here asked public officials and officials to build the road, but the hearing did not take place.
District 14 of the city, the road that leads to Maharani Laxmi Bainagar Diggi, has turned into potholes over the years. During the rainy season this road turns into a pond. Dirty water with mud and road invites infectious diseases. From the house of Mohalla resident Jagram to Juddha’s house, the entire street is flooded. People have to pass the muddy road.
Ward member Sandhya Verma said the proposal for the road construction had been made several times during the ward meetings. However, after his proposal was approved, the contractor was unable to complete the construction work because the cost estimate was inconsistent and the construction work was not up to standard. After that, the construction work was no longer started. The member said that the pregnant woman was about to go to the ambulance a few days ago when the ambulance got stuck in the mud and the woman was brought in the ambulance herself.
