Gradually this affair reached Lucknow. An investigation into the matter was initiated from there. In this case, after the Prayagraj chief engineer and superintending engineer was summoned to Lucknow last week, the whole matter was investigated on the basis of all records and old orders, then the regulation was found to be incorrect. Thereafter, on June 14, 2021, the superintending engineer AK Dwivedi lifted the regularization of all four by order of the chief engineer. However, no action was taken against the Babus of the Chief Engineer’s Office and Superintending Engineer’s Office for forgery and tampering with the files in the case.
It is said that like Prayagraj, three computer operators in Meerut were regulated in the same way. According to the department, regularization was also canceled in Meerut.
