Randeep Rai on Balika Vadhu 2 going off-air: “We didn’t get enough time to connect with the audience”

Balika Vadhu 2 starring Shivangi Joshi and Randeep Rai is going off-air. This news has come as a shock to the fans. Recently during a media interaction, Randeep and Shivangi talked about the show’s closure and said, “Every show has its own journey and it was short lived. It was a short journey yet lovely. ,

Talking about taking the show from TV to OTT platform, Shivangi aka Anandi said, “The show was planned this way. It was not that the show did not do well on TV and hence it was shifted to digital. The journey on TV could not be completed. So, we accomplished this on a new platform. When you watch the last episode, you’ll understand. It has a very happy ending.”

When asked about the possible reasons for the viewers not joining the show, Randeep said, “We didn’t get enough time. The audience also needed time to engage as it was an ongoing show and then we joined in. Most of them don’t even know that the show had taken a leap and we joined in. So I feel we were not given much time or things did not turn out as they should have otherwise we would have managed to make a place in the hearts of the audience. Otherwise we were sure that we would win the fans.

Shivangi also added to the conversation and shared, “I will see people on social media appreciating our work. We were very honest towards our work. It was a short journey but it was beautiful.”

On the work front, Shivangi Joshi is all set to collaborate with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Mohsin Khan for her next film.
