4 cups of khoya
1/4 teaspoon alum

1/2 cup of milk
225 grams of powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of butter
1 handful of almonds
To prepare this delicious recipe, first of all, prepare khoya by breaking it up in a bowl. Next, take a pan over medium heat and heat the ghee in it. When the ghee is very hot, mix the milk and khoya in the pan while stirring. Cook the mixture for 4-5 minutes.
Now sprinkle ground alum and mix it. Gradually add the sugar, stir and mix until incorporated into the mixture. Cook for about 3-4 minutes and then turn off the heat.
Grease an aluminum mold and pour the prepared mixture into it. Cover the can with a lid and set it aside for a day. When cooked, remove the mixture and reserve on a plate lined with parchment paper. Chop some almonds on a cutting board and sprinkle over the barfi mixture.
Place another layer of parchment paper on top and smooth them out by pressing lightly with the palms of your hands. Refrigerate it for 20-30 minutes and then cut it into small rectangles with the help of a knife.
Transfer these malai ki barfi to a serving tray and enjoy the delicious dessert!
