The process for building a sidings for NTPC’s power station near Katara Road station is running in a similar way.
The sidings are being upgraded in order to better serve the division’s freight trains and to increase loads at important stations. Merchants are assured that they can provide better facilities for shipping goods in less time. The bidding process will begin shortly to complete the siding work on Katara Road as part of a private partnership. The ongoing track construction work to increase NUPPL’s ​​business near Hamirpur Road will be completed by December 2021.
