Srinivas takes Padmavati from the Swayamwar venue after she wins Swayamwar to the jungle and feeds her water. He tries to explain why he brought her here. Padmavati says she doesn’t want to know how he learned archery but is happy with what he did. At the palace, the princes humiliate the king for inviting them and humiliating them about Srinivas and walk away. King asks her not to go as he will be humiliated instead. Vasu informs him that Srinivas left the palace on a chariot with Padmavati.

King is furious with Bhrigu for proposing an archery competition in Swayamwar to him, saying he was wrong to trust Bhrigu. Bhrigu fears that Srinivas will take Bhargavi away now, saying whatever happened he cannot change it, but he can change what will happen in the future. He drags Bhargavi from there. Bhargavi says she knows Srinivas did wrong, but… Bhrigu yells not to take Srinivas’ name again. He takes her home and asks if she loves Srinivas. She agrees. He asks if Srinivas loves her. She nods yes.

Srinivas tells Padmavati that he cannot marry her nor love her. she breaks down He says their relationship cannot go beyond a student-teacher relationship and he respects her very much. She refuses to accept his explanation. He ponders how to explain to her that he loves Sri/Bhargavi and is there for her. Bhrigu tries to manipulate Bhargavi by saying that Srinivas befriended her and entered her house just to get closer to the royal family. Bhargavi refuses to believe him. He insists and says that he will marry her to Vasu tonight.

Foreword: Bhargavi thinks if Srinivas really loves her he should reach out to her before the lamp goes out or else their relationship will end forever.
Padmavati sits between fires. Srinivas agrees to marry her.
