Firozabad. PWD is waiting for the budget for road improvement. As it is an election year, the government has been asked to prepare proposals worth more than Rs. 80 billion for the improvement of rural roads. As soon as the budget is available, roads will be built.
It became difficult to pass due to the deep potholes in the streets that connect the village to the city. Together with the representatives of the public, the PWD became aware of the improvement of these roads.
The PWD department prepared suggestions for improving these roads and had them surveyed by the JE of the area concerned. In addition to conducting the survey itself, information was also obtained from all MLAs and MPs in the district. A request for Rs 80 crore was then sent to the government to improve these streets in the district. The department is expected to have the budget in August and September. The village streets should be brightened before the model code of conduct comes into force. Now it remains to be seen how much money is available in the 80 crores proposal.
