The officers held a meeting with the inmates, listened to their problems, and assured their solution. On Wednesday, the county jail held a meeting of the “lower court review committee” chaired by District Judge Radheshyam Yadav.
District Judge Dr. Adarsh ​​Singh, Superintendent of the Yamuna Prasad Police Department, CJM and Secretary of the District Legal Service Bureau, Sanjay Kumar, etc. attended the meeting. During the meeting, discussions were held about the eligible prisoners under Section 436 “A” of the CrPC. District-level officers also discussed treatment, education, rehabilitation, exercise, health and employment-oriented education, and other needs.
The officers conducted a joint inspection of the prison. Information about their promises and other issues was obtained from those detained in the prison. Prison chief Haribaksh Singh said that all barracks and hands in the prison were being disinfected daily, and that prisoners were wearing masks and keeping them clean.
The prisoners’ goods can enter the prison
Prison Superintendent Haribaksh Singh said that due to kovid, all items her relatives give to detainees in the prison are still banned. But this ban will be lifted from June 24th. Now the relatives of prisoners / inmates can come to the prison and deliver the goods to their prisoners. But everyone has to adhere to the Covid rules.
